Freedom Journal Summer 2019

Out of stock

Freedom is the oldest anarchist publication in the English language. Produced by Freedom Press, it was founded in 1886 and continues today as a bi-annual journal available for donation with an associated daily news site, publishing service and bookshop. Based in Whitechapel, the Freedom Press collective runs on a nonprofit and largely volunteer basis.

In this Summer issue, we look at:

  • How to bring down the bailiffs
  • Grassroots organising outside the cities
  • Rethinking the climate crisis campaign
  • How to show solidarity with sex workers
  • Challenges ahead for London anti-fascism
  • What disillusionment with Corbyn’s radicalism means for anarchism
  • The box set regime we live with
  • Mutu: An example of radical media networking
  • The trap of social media
  • Legal advice: Fingerprinting
  • Trans struggle
  • Our pick of the year’s upcoming radical books
